PLANTING TREES

Forests are the lungs of the earth and trees are the most amazing gift from mother nature providing oxygen and food for the survival of all living beings. They also have so many advantages like acting as a natural purifier, preventing soil erosion, providing shade/shelter, etc. Global warming is an alarming issue and severely contributes to the climatic changes. When it comes to global warming, increase in carbon emission and increase in deforestation are related and go hand in hand. In the name of urbanisation and industrialisation, the importance of trees has been ignored which has adversely affected the quality of natural air, water and has pushed us to the current scenario. Planting trees will heal the earth in many ways and will help all species to have a natural and sustainable life.

In order to rejuvenate the Earth and to combat the current scenario where deforestation and pollution has taken a toll, we need to plant more tree saplings around us. There are many factors which need to be considered when planting a tree sapling. Those factors include which family the tree belongs to, climatic factors, precipitation and all other factors based on the biomes. Due to the lack of awareness, these important factors have not been considered while planting trees which in-turn can affect the local biodiversity.

In REACT, we take into account all these important factors to reap the maximum benefits from planting the trees without affecting the native species and the biome. We make sure all our saplings are grown in biodegradable covers. We also have guidance from experts on tree planting methods which could help us overcome practical difficulties.
